A Level 2 charger runs on a 240-volt dedicated circuit and charges most cars overnight. Getting there safely depends on your panel, the distance from the panel to where you park, and the charger you choose.
We check the panel capacity first, then quote the circuit, the charger connection, the permit and the inspection in writing. If your utility has a rebate program, we help with the paperwork.
What the installation includes
Panel capacity check
A load calculation to see what size charger your panel can support, and whether load management or a panel upgrade makes sense.
Dedicated circuit
A new 240-volt circuit sized for the charger, run to the garage, driveway or parking spot.
Charger connection
Hardwired chargers or a NEMA 14-50 outlet for plug-in units, mounted and tested with your car.
Commercial and multi-car charging
Chargers for businesses, workplaces and properties with more than one car, planned around the building's service.
Permit and inspection
We pull the permit and book the inspection, which many utility rebate programs require.
Rebate paperwork
Help with the paperwork for utility rebate programs. Eligibility depends on your utility, property and installation.
Buying the charger
You can buy the charger yourself or ask us to supply one. If you are applying for a rebate, check the program's list of qualifying chargers before you buy; some programs only pay for certain networked models.
Seattle City Light, PSE and Snohomish PUD
Which incentives you can use depends on your electric utility, not your city. Seattle and Shoreline are served by Seattle City Light, the Eastside by Puget Sound Energy, and Everett, Lynnwood and the rest of Snohomish County by Snohomish County PUD. Bothell is split between PSE and the PUD at the county line.
As of 2026, PSE offers a rebate on qualifying ENERGY STAR smart Level 2 home chargers. Seattle City Light’s programs focus on multifamily buildings and public charging, and Snohomish PUD ended its residential charger rebate at the end of 2025. Programs change, so we check what applies to your address when we quote.

How long does a home EV charger installation take?
It depends on the distance from the panel to where you park, the route for the circuit and whether the panel needs an upgrade. We give you the scope and schedule in writing before we start.
Can you install a charger I already bought?
Yes. Send us the make and model and we will confirm the circuit size it needs. If you are claiming a rebate, check the charger is on the program's approved list first.
Can you help with EV charger rebates?
We can help with paperwork for utility rebate programs. Eligibility depends on your utility, property and installation; we will discuss the available options with you.
Do you install chargers for businesses and apartment buildings?
Yes. We install commercial chargers and multi-car setups, starting with a check of the building's service capacity so the chargers do not overload it.
